Status of OpenCL C Language Extensions doc? #1080

I'm cleaning up in preparation for merging #950 and wondering what the status of this document is. It is present in the repository and linked from the OpenCL Resource Guide, but has not been updated since 2019 and has virtually no content, nor is it one of the default targets built by the Makefile. Could we potentially integrate this to the C Language Specification as part of #950?

I've asked to add this to tomorrow's teleconference agenda.

My recommendation would be to remove this document. We had some ideas a while back (probably in 2019) to support "compiler extensions" like the one documented for variadic macros, but it didn't seem to gain traction and don't see any implementations that support it. I wouldn't spend time integrating it into #950, at least, not yet.

Discussed in the March 19th teleconference. We're going to sunset this document. I'll make a PR to unlink it from the resource guide shortly, and it's fine that it is not integrated into the C language specification.
