Hi!
nice find ... this naming seems much better than the ugly one for the OptoDevice-footprints.
Please post the PR for rereferencing in Opto.lib!
Best, JAN

For the update of symbols
MFSOP6-4 https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/ap-en/design-support/package/detail.4pin%20MFSOP6.html
MFSOP6-5 https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/ap-en/design-support/package/detail.5pin%20MFSOP6.html
There exist two foot prints in Opto-Devices.pretty
Toshiba_SOP_Pins1346_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm.kicad_mod Toshiba_SOP_Pins13456_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm.kicad_mod
They are used by the TLPXXX serie from Thoshiba It turns out that they are actually called 4pin MFSOP6 5pin MFSOP6
So my suggestion is the follwoing
If you agree to merge the following two new foot prints MFSOP6-4_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm MFSOP6-5_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm
in Housings_SSOP
I will in next push replace all footprints of the TLPXXX that uses Toshiba_SOP_Pins1346_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm.kicad_mod Toshiba_SOP_Pins13456_4.4x3.6mm_Pitch1.27mm.kicad_mod so they use MFSOP6
and also remove the foot prints, Toshiba_SOP_PinsXXX, from Opto-Devices.pretty
I have not created a push for package-3D-source because I think 3D models made by quadquery is already documented in quadquery and therefore there is no need to backup the 3D model in package-3D-source
