My Birthday messages are not working. its shows they have been sent but they are not going out.

Thank you for letting us know. We are reviewing the messages now. It does show that they are all sent within the system.

to me Hi,

I am listed as a student within my student list. It was my birthday on Tuesday and I didn't receive a birthday message despite it being setup to send. My user desktop for birthday messages is not working either, it shows messages being send (1) long before they are meant to be sent. Can you fix this problem ?

to Pamela Hey Pam,

It's Mindi. This is for school number 1102. This school is saying they are not receiving the bday automation emails. The admin also has a student account and his bday was on tuesday and he should have received an email and did not. It's showing on the dashboard that it sent, but in sendgrid it's not there. I thought maybe it was happening because it was a hotmail email or because it's a UK email or a combo of both. EXCEPT he has received other emails previously, just not the birthday announcement...The automated settings for birthday are set at 0 and 0 so it should go out on his bday. I looked at both of his emails in his account and neither are showing anything in sendgrid. Those 2 emails are: jmcdadetaekwondo@hotmail.co.uk
scottiemcd@hotmail.co.uk

SOOOOO then i looked at someone else's account (School #1) to see if anyone had a birthday that was soon and had the same bday automation settings. They did :) and they got the birthday announcement like they were supposed to! See screenshot below :)

So good news is the automation is working, but bad news is I have no idea why it's not working in their system. I let them know we would look into it and would get back to them.

I also put a new student in their system named 'Kicksite Test' because as I'm typing this email I'm wondering if the bday automation settings were changed recently and that could affect the email going out possibly..... I made the birthday for april 22 so it would give the system a chance to recognize the new student. Couldn't remember exactly when that got updated in the database exactly and didn't want to take any chances.

Anyways - if you have any other thoughts of what could be happening please please please share!!! :) Thank you!

to Pamela And now another wrinkle - just noticed in notes that Travis asked about Mille Jane Smith. She DID receive a bday automation email!! April 20.

Inline image 1 So it seems like automations are working just fine... I have no idea why he didn't receive one on Tuesday... I also checked the spam, bounced and unsubscribes in sendgrid.

I received the bday test email. Pam and I think it may have just been a glitch from the server. Since he's in the UK it's hard to know for sure. going to continue to monitor all of the bdays in may to make sure they are going out.
