Option to dismiss the menu by tapping or swiping on the blank areas #79

I'm using this on my tablet and only use it for the power options and device controls. This leads to there being a vast amount of blank space. Tapping or swiping to dismiss the menu would be a nice feature to have as it would be consistent with the rest of the ui.

I agree. Atm, it seems impossible to quit the access menu, which is not helpful. I will have to turn the screen off and back on to dismiss it.

You close it like you do any other app, swipe back or press back if you're using button nav.

But, it should behave like a power menu, not like a application.

Original A11 power menu also doesn't behave like that. It's exactly like this app.

There are definitely people wanting this feature. You could make it optional...

Why don't you just use a back gesture from the side? There are more pressing issues like loyalty card support.
