Can't open the applet in Dell XP2S 13 Developer Edition (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) #78

I've managed to install fluxgui from the PPA repository. I can launch the applet for the first time, which creates the icon in the taskbar. However, I can't access the preferences, thus setting when I would like f.lux to start changing the monitor colour.

I'm using at work Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and there I can use f.lux without any issue. I think this has to do with the high resolution monitor the Dell XPS 13 (9350) has.

It's working now. Unfortunately I didn't keep track of the libraries I've updated in the last few days, but last evening f.lux started working properly and let me access the Preferences.
