I've already using blockhash, and it would be great to migrate to pure java.

I started implementing block mean hashes a while ago. The start of the implementation can be found at the block mean hash branch. https://github.com/KilianB/JImageHash/commit/28694f85fadcfd109deb9b175ba19fa2dbeb3ce9 I'll take a look at it this within the next 3 days and see if I can finish it and release a new version.
