What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On Samsung Galaxy Note running Android 2.3.6, upgrade to GTalkSMS 3.5
2. Try to start GTalkSMS

What is the expected output?
GTalkSMS should log in using the id provided.

What do you see instead?

GTalkSMS gives a message "Invalid username/password". Once in a while it just
hangs without connecting.
Tried with multiple gmail and jabber accounts, without success. Tried stopping
and restarting GTalkSMS, restarted phone, all without success.

Phone model: Galaxy Note, Android 2.3.6
