I play on Local game as Hosted Server

I did not edit the mission file. I just played it straight as it is.

Short Issue Description

I get instant Kill by one shot

Expected Behaviour

I expected that it would work like all other mission. When you get a shot on a limb you could use Ace tools and heal myself or at least get unconscious by some time and revive and heal.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

I load the mission as a Hosted Server (local). I leave all setting as default. Everything goes perfect and fine. My issue is that I cannot heal (Ace medical tools are there but don't work). If I get shot I instantly get kill and "Deploy" menu comes up.

Screenshots, Serverlog or any other helpful Information

I got the version " co40_liberation0.955_Malden (optimized for local hosting)" but the issue remains. I looked at the server Parameters but nothing helped to solve this issue.

I'm a complety noob on server setting. So if is there some configuration I would need to do, please, let me know.

First -> The mission you use isn't from me, so I don't know what the creator maybe did for "local hosting optimization". And concerning ACE -> You've to configure ACE on your server as you've to do it for every mission. Nothing special for Liberation with that. You should may have a look here and follow the normal ACE instructions. https://github.com/Wyqer/kp_liberation#ace-serverside-settings

What I meant is that I played the KP liberation and that issue happened. Then I tried the KP Liberation (local hosting optimization) version, because I'm playing as a local host and the issue remain the same, I get kill at the first shot.

That's why I made the question. I have both version and none of them works fine because I'm always back to "Deploy" menu after getting one shot.

This afternoon I tried playing Vanilla it worked fine until I get unconcious. I could not revive.

So, I think is not a server config problem but some kind of Mod congifuration or some twick that I don't know of.

What he meant is that as he doesn't know what "local hosting optimization" means, any support we offers might be incorrect. Fortunately for you, I happen to know the author.

It is actually a server config problem. You need the ACE serverside .pbo loaded by your server, you also could do with a userconfig for ACE functionality. Which is all well documented by the ACE team.

Also, make sure you have the "revive mode" parameter disabled in lobby parameters, or in ui\mission_params.hpp, for it to be default every session.

No offence to that author and friend but his idea was to remove the larger sectors for the small Radio Towers, this actually breaks gameplay and unbalanced the challenge. If you really want to play locally, simply lower the "unit cap" parameter to 25% or 50% and lower the "enemy aggression" parameter also.
