Opfor becoming civilian when wounded or unconscious before death.

As the title says. When wounded Opfor units switch side to civilian then die. This causes the civilian reputation to tank. Watched it happen as Zeus. One even didn't wait to go unconscious before switching, and ran around with his rifle as a civilian. Anyone else encounter this or find any fixes?
