Better error handling #4

Apart from FaCT++ killing the server (which we can't do much about)...

It would be good if we could hook up a catchall that emailed or otherwise 
notified the admin.

In general I'm not sure that the logging strategy is right - it all gets blown 
out into a rolling log.
