Won't display highlight color #189

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. apt-get install nano -- or anything else with highlighted characters
2. run nano -- or whatever else you installed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In nano, the bottom panel has some highlighted characters. Take for example "^O 
write", ^O is highlighted in white (I believe this is called a background color 
in ncurses), but the highlight doesn't show.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
426 on iOS4 jailbroken with jailbreakme running on an iPod touch.

It seems it won't display any colored characters what so ever, they all show up 
as black.

Fixed as of commit r483 which draw background colors other than black.
