Upgraded Unity Engine Editor TO 2021.3.f121-stable (FROM 2020.3.91f).
-- Checked for migration errors/bugs - all green,
-- Checked for and updated necessary unity files and/or packages -- all green,
-- Checked for previously created config files to work on new editor build - all green.
Upgraded mlagents FROM 2.0.1-exp TO 2.3.0-exp.3 (on the unity side)
-- Checked for any inconsistencies/incompatibilities with other meta-package dependencies (such as UnityGymWrapper) -- all green.
Tested RL scripts (e.g. stablebaselines) to work on yaml config files on upgraded build - all green.
Validated latest changes to work on Windows; Mac - all green.
Nota Bene/TL;DR: everything works as intended and as usual. The purpose of this migration to newer unity engine editor was that to keep up-to-date with the guidelines of mlagents (mlagents requires unity engine editor to be at least 2021 for their latest version), and to upgrade to a better and more improved version of unity engine before newer unity-side enhancements can be implemented for optimal support and stability.
