I've finished with my cleanup of the integrators. It's ready for beta testing now. I see two issues that still need to be checked:

Does the new rosenbrock_split method work inside GEOSChem?
Can we delete the strange loop in gen.c? See: https://github.com/KineticPreProcessor/KPP/issues/40#issuecomment-1133643715

Also I'm not sure if we will be able to use the rosenbrock_split in GEOS-Chem since it is really set up to use the aggregate function.
