Before submitting the issue, please check that your version of TabGroups
Manager is the lastest stable one. (Check it in Firefox Extensions).

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Regular install
2. Opening Tabs within a group
3. Trying to send an active tab from one group to another via the right click
tab menue

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Please read additional information >> below

System Info:
What version of TabGroups Manager are you using?

2013.04.10.001

What Operative System are you using? 32 or 64 bits?

Win7 32 bits

What version of Firefox are you using?

Firefox 33.1.1

Are you using any other tab extension like Colorfull tabs, Multiple Tab
Handler, TabMix Plus..?

TabMix Plus 0.4.1.5.2

Please provide any additional information below and screens capture if
possible.

TGM used to have a lot of memory problems in case of carrying a lot of tabs
within groups and used to crash firefox on a frequent basis. 100+ tabs within
10 or less groups caused crashes whenever more than 30+ tabs where in use and
active. All functions worked according to expectations with Firefox 30.x.

Today I upgraded Firefox to 33.1.1. and reinstalled TGM from scratch. Tow
problems showed up, I have'nt experienced like this before:

1.: Despite of arranging new groups containing several tab there is no group
history or tab group listing. Thus it's not possible anymore to send a tab from
one group to another simply by choosing this function via the tab's right click
menue.

2.: Opening new tabs within one group works fine, but those new opened show up
within all other groups as well. That also used to work different in FF 30.x.
Tabs used to stick to their original group and/or could be moved to another but
did'nt get reproduced within all other groups as well. Now a group states (2)
tabs next to it's tab name, but when opened shows all other opened tabs that
have been opened whithin another group as well.

3.: When shutting down Firefox and restarting it, the first tab always
"forgets" it's original name and replaces it with "Start". This error happend
before upgrading too.

Hm, have 217 tabs in 9 Groups and no crashes.

1 & 2 looks like its related to the collapsed tabs code problem. Fix for this
is trivial. I have not implemented this code and TGM works perfectly.

@Miguel let me know if i shall change it back, then you need only to release a
new beta. In other case we get more and more issues with the same problem in
the bug tracker.

3. Have it also observed in the past, but at the moment it works for me. But i
have seldom new groups.

I confirm this behaviour as well.
TGM latest beta (105).
Tab mix plus 0.4.1.7Pre 150112a1
FF 35.
Symptoms: Tabs from one group get restored into other groups; sometimes even
changing a group tab is enough for a tab from group A to "leak" into group B.

Because of the known bugs and past issues, the issue is probably still there,
however I havent been able to reproduce or seen it with the lastest version 005.

RecoverMeSTT, in case you are not using the default Firefox session manager, I
would recommend you to do so. I have never had any issues with TGM and
TabMixPlus with the default Firefox session manager.
Also if you have or find an easy way to reproduce the problem, it will be
really nice so we can take a look at it.

Thank you.

Miguel, I'll try to determine how to reliably reproduce the problem.

It may be related to the number of tabs open (loaded or not).
The most problematic profile has around 2000 tabs in 10 groups. (Yes, this is
an unusual case, and I've read elsewhere here that TGM apparently stores a lot
of "stuff" for each tab).

Other profiles with fewer tabs don't appear to have the problem yet.

Looking at my problem profile, it seems as if, when switching between groups,
several (10-30 tabs) appear in the same position, in each group. I use Tab Mix
Plus wit the multiline option, and when I move from TGM group to TGM group, the
same cluster of normal, Firefox tabs appears in each TGM group.

That's as well as I can characterise it at present.

Moving to FF's native session manager isn't an option at present; though I do
use the Session Manager addon as well, and haven't had much of a problem with
it. But it is another variable to investigate...

RecoverMeSTT ty for the update and additional info. One of the ways to
reproduce it would be to add some quality test in our releases, like in this
case where TGM should handle and check thousand of tabs and their ownership to
one group.

In my current setup with TGM I usually handle about +500 tabs, but managed in
independant different Firefox processes, in example, one for musik&videos,
another one for daily things, another one for work.. That way I can ensure
Firefox is not overloaded with so many tabs and I can close one of the Firefox
instances if it begins to work slowly. It works fast and its better than having
everything in just one Firefox process.
In future, when Firefox electrolysis becomes stable and we could have one
process for each tab in TGM or component, it will really speed everything up by
a lot and it will be easy to identify and stop tabs with bad scripts which
overloads everything.

Also, adding Javascript Real Time Databases would be incredible for TGM. Stylez
John and other TGM members talked very much about it in the past :)
