In looking at the issue with Known/Implied relationships not appearing correctly on the person profile, found that a LOT of people belonged to an Implied Relationship group with a role of Known Relationship Owner (this was in addition to the other correct Implied Relationship group where they had the correct role of Implied Relationship Owner). This group/role mismatch of group types is what is causing the problem on person profile.
