Location green dot showing every 5 minutes now #136

I noticed the same on Pixel 7 Pro.

Not sure what was causing this but had the same thing happen on Nothing Phone (1). Installed Universal GMS Doze and restricted Play Services from running in background. Uninstalled Universal GMS Doze after that and issue was resolved.

It's just installing it? I have a Nothing Phone 1 too

You're using the Nothing Phone too, can you please tell me what features work and what features don't work?

Extreme Battery Saver doesn't work too right? And how did you make the Next Gen Assistant work? And btw what does Google settings service does?

I'm still having the same issue Even after restricting Google Play Services from running in the background @thesmart1 please help me

Just pinging this issue once more, as I'm having the same exact issue, with the Nothing Phone (1) too. Every few minutes (sometimes even seconds) the green location thing pops up, even with location turned off.

Also, as an update because it might help, here's what the location "recents" show that the most recent is always "Phone services"

any updates? the dot is annoying until this issue gets resolved i use this

Hi @xzrvr , what did you hide on that module? My showed that it was phone services that was always doing the green dot, but when I hid it, it didn't work. Did you hide the "Tethering" mentioned in your last post?

have u enable the lsposed/xposed module and restart device? or maybe u selected the wrong app

yes, i hid com.networkstack.tethering
