The BRT/DIM and TEST switch is spring loaded in both positions, currently works in the TEST to return to center.

Can you explain the behaviour a bit more? I thought it was spring-loaded for TEST, then BRIGHT/DIM were two toggle states - BRIGHT as currently implemented and DIM uses light sensitive detectors to auto-adjust brightness (which we can't currently do).

Spring loaded both directions. Normal is BRT, pushing switch up will set DIM.

The switch springs back to center from both up or down position. The correct operation is bump it up to toggle between bright and dim. Hold it down to test which ever mode is selected (bright or dim). The correct test procedure is to test both bright and dim mode to ensure all lights are working in both bright and dim.
