The app name does not comply with the spec that ES uses to auto load eventtypes and tags into its CIM Data models...

it requires TA-appname or Splunk_TA_appname to be the naming convention or the app is ignored

Yes, I see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback. I've updated the app name in the README, but I'll need to look into impact of renaming the repository. If I remember correctly, GitHub doesn't automatically redirect users to the new location.

I don't want to break the link between Splunk base and GitHub, so I'll probably have to coordinate the change over.
