1.18.2 port #26

I did a quick port to 1.18.2. It might benefit from some testing but basic functionality seems to work fine.

When properly merged, the smart recipes version might need changing to the official version, as well as the url changing back. This requires an update to smart recipes, which I've also sent a PR for
