Some 3dgs scenes are are spatialy large while the subject can be relatively small. Exterior scenes from lumalabsAI can be like this, they end up as large spheres. With the original GS addon I could edit the point cloud directly to cull extraneous points or delete with a field of view to camera.
I propose a simple culling volume centrered on the GS object a cube with changeable aspect ratios would be best I guess. Would this make face orientation faster to calculate?
