Cast from chrome reports device not found #105

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. load chrome cast extension to chrome on machine running Symantec Endpoint 
Protection for av
2. try to cast, receive device not found
3. repeat 1 and 2 on machine with avast as av, connects fine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected connect ok, instead see device not found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Cast 13.1008.0.9  Win7 ultimate x86 and x64

Please provide any additional information below.

Getting device not found on several machines.
I believe the common factor is SEP - Symantec Endpoint Protection.
All machines are windows 7 
On the machines running sep as av I get device not found
On machines running Avast as AV it works albeit the extension shows up as beta 
even though apparently it has the same version number.

to the Google Cast SDK and will be closing your issue.

Take a look at http://googledevelopers.blogspot.com/ for more information.

Check out the release notes for detailed combination of Chromecast build, 
Chrome browser version and Cast extension version on sender side to make sure 
they are right.
