What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open your browser
2. Goto https://github.com/googlecast/CastVideos-android
3. Look at the code

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect Google's example code to use the build system and IDE they define. 
Instead I see sloppy code that has is not setting the right example.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

seems like version 0.0.1 alpha. All OS

Please provide any additional information below.

Gradle'a'fy your example projects.
