Please add M2TS video format and AC3 sound format to chromecast

Have you tried these: 
http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/cast-media-server-samples/media.zip ? 
HLS works, and there are m2ts examples.

I am not a Dev.
I would like to be able to stream my m2ts and ac3 files to chromecast
I have tried your m2ts examples and none of them works for me. Only mov
file is ok

I am a dev, and i can successfully play these (streams in folders): 
DevBytes Google Cast SDK_withGDLintro_Apple_HLS_h264_SF_16x9_720p  //HLS
DevBytes Google Cast SDK_withGDLintro_MPEG_DASH_x264_LF_16x9_720p  //MPEG-DASH
So far, i am unable to play only HSS, so there is a support for DASH and HLS.

But i agree with you, it will be very nice to have m2ts support.

Yes m2ts support would be great + ac3 as well for my mkv sound :-)

m2ts is already supported and there is no plans to support AC3.
