Can't run on Debian 11 server #1

Hi program not running in debian 11 server

If i am giving a word of the first line of .txt file and then add multiple streamtape url program is failing to create hidden folder for that given word of the first line.I tried to run the program in Windows 8 and Debian 11 and i failed everywhere.

Can you make this program like videos will downloaded and video files name will be the same of streamtape id name.

What do you mean by same id? Could you specify more? Do you mean file name or link?

Here you gave this link as example: https://streamtape.com/e/jbN4bjkkf46 So if i consider this is my video file i want to download then after downloading i want to have my file name this: jbN4bjkkf46.mp4 Can you please do it? I think this script will much easier to use if i give a list of links in .txt file and videos will be downloaded and renamed like that

Because right now this first line of name is making difficult to run this script and mkdir not making a .name directory i don't why

I can fix that problem very easily but streamtape has made it much harder to download their videos. And my program does not work anymore :(

It has now been fixed. Just go download the most recent update to the program

You don't have to have the name at the start anymore and check the link format. Also go open the links in the browser to check if the video is even available.

Thanks It is working but download speed is very slow.Can it you do something to make it faster ?

It is taking 1 video 335 mb to download 12 minutes in 150 mbps internet connection and in ssd

insanely slow 4 videos take an hour to download using IDM can be better solution than the script

It's not the scripts fault. That's the max speed for streamtape I'm pretty sure. I have made similar downloaders for example to bandcamp and the speeds are really fast. Maybe you could run multiple instances?

I have downloaded same video with internet download manager and it took 3 minute.my plans to download each day 100 videos if it takes 10-20 minutes to download 1 video it is going to be very painful.I am sure streamtape server is serving the video much faster than the script downloading speed.
