saving a design omits top layer #33

attempts to save the 9-pointed star omits the top layer - only example using points to define the perimeters

both layers have been saved OK - both reconstructed Ok (danger inlooking at the logging state of a mutative structure because we only see the latest state - so unsure where the state changed)

somewhere points is constructed from points

path reconstruct altered to call to_points()
