I use Gnome Wayland session on Antergos distro. Screenshot feature does not work, screenfetch generates a black picture.

This may actually be a bug in scrot or a general issue with Wayland.

Yes, scrot does not work on wayland.

Yes: Gnome Screenshot and Spectacle (KDE).

sway (i3 for wayland) uses swaygrab, basically each has their own solution from my understanding.
