Error in save games #16

Hi! I really enjoyed my first run through this awesome randomizer! Great work!! I wanted today to start a new game. I cleared everything and it still showed that I had 6 badges each time I saved. (even if I saved before getting my starter). I tried removing every ROM and readd them. It got fixed (so I thought so). Then, I realized that even if I do not have any badges, it's like I already played the game. Every item I collected were gone, each gym I battled in my last game were also beaten eventhough it showed 0 badges... Every NPC I talked to, also in my first playthrough, were "talked to". Ex: No tea for me! The lady said I already have it, but I don't. I tried again and again... I've been at it for 3 hours now and I can't fix it. Do you know why it does that? Can you tell me how to start a whole new game? Thanks :)

If you go to the 'Saves' tab you should see a button that says 'Clear Saves/ROMS'. That should wipe the data and allow the games to start again.

I also did that and it didn't work.. I tried that before removing and readding everything back. I am obviously doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is. Also my first language is French. Sorry if I misspelled something.. lol

It don't know why the button wouldn't work. It might be easiest just to manually delete the data. In chrome you can find all the files the app stored here: (CTRL+SHIFT+i) -> Application -> indexedDB

From that screen you can delete any data the app stored.

Game error

I just tried it again and I have 5 badges in 14 mins..? Don'T think so.. See the image attached.

I tried 3 times (CTRL + SHIFT + I) and each time I open the folder "IndexedDB" and then "File Data" it showed me that there is nothing it the folder and it froze everything.. I had to manually close everything 3 times lol Never happened before! I have a good PC. The game is not too big to play. I am just trying to start a new game and I can't. Is it because I play on Firefox and I should try Chrome instead?

I just tried in Firefox and my computer crashed when I tried to expand file data. However, I was able to delete the data by left clicking '/offline', Deleting it, then refreshing the page.

Thanks! I'll start a new game in Chrome. I'm 99% confident that IT WILL be a new game this time! haha If I want to start a third game and I still have problems, I'll comment again. Thank you for you time and patience! :)

That's fine, I didn't test firefox much. From the error I got I think maybe the file store connections are blocking each other and it's getting stuck? Chrome should definitely work as it's what I used for all the testing.
