Now that the misguided "analysis" feature has been canned, a UI overhaul becomes necessary.
One of the biggest flaws of the current design is that users cannot see both the list of opened data sources and the filters. They see either or and have to toggle between the two quite often.
The proposed solution to this problem is to move the data sources to the left-hand side while keeping filters, issues, outline, etc.. on the right.
See the following mockup as to how this might look like:
[x] Move Add File and Add Folder to the "File" menu at the top
[x] Move Open in explorer to menu bar
[x] Move export to menu bar
[x] Replace FlatProgressBar with CircularProgressBar to reduce required width
[x] Find proper separator color (pure #000000 is too jarring)
[x] Add chevron to Data Sources drop down (so it is more easily recognizable as a drop down)
[x] Data sources drop down must turn white when down / pinned (not medium light blue)
[x] Fix "blue screen" (literally just a blue background) when the last data source is removed (the wrong element is filled blue, hiding the interesting thing behind)
[x] Add CheckBox to MenuItems which toggle a boolean value
[x] Fix borders of outline panels (right hand side)
[x] Find proper design for central toggle buttons now that the background is blue: "Icon + Count", no bg unless hovered, grayed out when unchecked probably
[x] Move Find all to top, next to search log file
[x] Repair find all shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+F)
[x] Move Data Source Pin to DataSourceToggleButton (left of chevron)
[x] Find All panel should be located directly underneath the main log view
[x] Minimal width <= 1920 / 2 px
[x] Ensure that the center top bar never requires more than 1 row
[x] Minimal height of bottom screen >= 1 Data source height
[x] Add Merged Data Source Character Code / Filename toggle to View menu
[x] Repair "Settings" Panel (it only needs to be as usable as before)
[x] Repair "About" Panel (it only needs to be as usable as before)
[x] Repair "Plugins" Panel (it only needs to be as usable as before)
