Which DLL's are Rainmeters. #25

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
It is very difficult, not to mention annoying, to be told what is not a
rainmeter issue or dll.

Please list for us what dll's are rainmeters, and which are not so that we
may get on with bugging someone else.

If you are in the process of replacing or advancing these other dlls,
please advise.

I love Rainmeter dearly, and have supported as I can, but I am seriously
getting frustrated.

Read a HELP file. In that, the "Plugin" that is means it.
i.e. this is an official plugins of Rainmeter.

evmckay,

Your right that it would be helpful to create a directory of core .DLLs. Could
also
cover other known .DLLs and their status. This would be a good Wiki page for
you to
put together a first version of if you're up for it.

Thanks,
Brian

Yes, with forum and contact links for the authors of the unofficial .dlls

I go into surgery tomorrow for my knee. Give me a couple of days to do a little
recovery, and I am on it to the best of my abilities.

I have also dropped the first e-mail to some folks to see about some forum
space, and
admin. regulation.

In a way I would almost like to see a perpetual community as Samurize, but
better,
and available to all. Something ease for everyone to understand. Something that
even
Rainy can watch and help grow, but not do it alone.

You get the picture.

Do I need any kind of special format for the WIKI. ie. HTML, txt, etc?

I figure to have both readable and visual tutorials for the wiki.

Not sure how deep it will go until completed, but when finished I will forward
a pdf
outline

You can just edit right in the Wiki and it will do all the formating, ect for
you.
