Window is too small when it starts #49

Window is extremely small and jumps in size when first resized. This is true for all images.

Here is the size after clicking on the resize widget in the lower right of the window - it jumps to this new size... screen shot 2014-08-21 at 9 28 12 am

Resolved with GUI update.
