Hi,

I've tried the Slicer Virtual reality module with the Pico neo 3 pro VR glasses and it is amazing! I can walk in the scene and watch my models. Unfortunately, I can't move the scene with the controller. They show up in SteamVR just fine and I can see them in SlicerVR but I cannnot do anything with them - I've tried every combination in the Controller section in the github page. Do I need to change some settings?

I'm using the latest stable Slicer 5.0.3 on Windows 10.

Thank you for this great tool!

Hi Steffen,

I tried the new Pico4 wiht Slicer 5.0.3 VR and steamvr , it doesn't work at all. The headset glasses prompted a msg missing a json file, and went black. Have you met the same issue, and do you have some suggestion about the configraution?

thanks

Hi,

could you connect the VR-glasses successfully with SteamVR? A while ago, there were many different versions of Pico Link software - and some did not connect with the VR-glasses. The version provided in the Steam store worked for me. do you see the SteamVR Lobby when you connect? When starting Slicer VR it shows a warning message "action manifest for SlicerApp-real was not found" in steam VR but it still works - only without the controller interaction.

I did not change the configuration.

It seems that other devices also don't work. See #88 and #102

@steffen-o As far as we know all the known issues have been fixed recently, but we only tested it on a few popular headsets. Can you please try with the latest Slicer preview? Thank you!

@steffen-o The SlicerVirtualReality extension can be downloaded from the extension manager, it is already available for SlicerStable and will be available for SlicerPreview tomorrow.

When starting Slicer VR it shows a warning message "action manifest for SlicerApp-real was not found" in steam VR but it still works - only without the controller interaction.

This should now be fixed :white_check_mark:
