Hello, there Hope you are doing well. I'm considering Trying to put this together myself, I was wondering if it's possible if you could attach an antenna to extend the range.

You can do that, but you need to modify your board, like soldering a longer antenna instead of that tiny one that exists, but i dont really know how effective it would be considering we're dealing with a esp32. If you want to do that, you have to do some math and figure whats the perfect size for the antenna.
