One of the goals is to develop an event-by-event uncertainty measure. In Dropbox > Reports > EBEUNSRT, there are 5 papers that cover the topic and might be relevant.
Also, I can check out this repo for the “FreeDOM” project: https://github.com/philippeller/freeDOM/wiki/References-&-Talks, but this is very focussed on IceCube
