Did you use port 9999?
SSL doesn't work. Try a different port.
No I used the "recommended" port 5555. I can connect with the CPU version of XMR-Stak. Also crashed with the slow port 3333
Maybe you can try the option -P then you can see some more info about what's happening
So I am getting the below with -P. I should also point out, on my GTX980 where it is working, it performs 10% worse than xmr-stak, even though you are credited on that compile. Wondering what the mystery might be there!

On xmrpool.eu I get

And ccminer stops responding and crashes. It could well be some issu from xmrpool but a more graceful failure would help. FYI I get 67 H/s on both benchmark and monerohash
