  1. Dissolved SM (2.0567 g, 13.2 mmol) in MeCN (300 mL)
  2. Added tosic acid (3.3555 g, 19.5 mmol, 1.5 equiv.) and NBS (2.8198 g, 15.8 mmol, 1.2 equiv.)
  3. Left stirring at 80 C from 6 pm
