Given results from https://github.com/KlementineJBS/USYD_PhD_ELN/issues/234 , exclude 423, 726 and 731 from future experiments. This leaves 617, 619 and 727.
Need 8 x 15 larvae to test the 3 compounds above.
Flask A yielded 455.8 mg fungus which was enough for 6 groups. New amphotericin B hasn't arrived so I did 2 sets with the old batch.
Made up 619 fresh using the new bottle of PBS.
Began infection at 1.30 pm and treatment at 4.55 pm.
Larvae were fresh - delivered on the day.
Second treatment administered between 3.30 and 4 pm.
NB. For PBS controls, used PBS + 5% DMSO so that it was identical in composition to the compound treatments.
Made up 2 x flasks using 6/9 mm55 2018 plates. One didn't sonicate well - the fragments stayed on the bottom of the tube even after agitation. (Flask B)
Used flask A for this set.
