TLC at 3 pm indicated some reaction had occurred. Reaction mixture had also turned black, which previously has indicated that reaction is progressing (see #23).
Left stirring a little longer.
TLC at 12 indicated reaction was still not complete. However, this reaction typically does not go to completion, so the decision was made to work it up anyway.

(Crystals formed in RBF when left overnight)
1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 4.49, 4.00, 3.29, 3.10, 3.08, 2.18, 1.46, 1.44, 1.29, 1.25.
Appears to be a mixture of both mono and bis products, as expected. Will confirm with mass spec and likely column manually as with #22.
