We need to be fairly clear about the grids that we are working on, to avoid confusion and to make sure that we are putting the right things together. We have made space in the filename definition for a grid field, but at the moment it is inferred from the filename. This doesn't always work e.g. the DKSS data doesn't have the grid in the filename. There is therefore a need to provide at least a text string to ensure that this is handled correctly

Remove the 'automatic' detection of grid names, and handle it explicitly as part of the input configuration
