Generic Z-Wave device #4

Hello

When I am adding the ZWS230 to a Homey Pro, the device is recognized as a generic Z-Wave device and not as a Fakro Chain Motor. The Homey is running the latest version.

Hello , i ve exactly the same problem with Homey Pro and zws230

Same issue for me. Can I send you some logs so you get more detailed info?

[Update] Temporarily solved the issue. Updated Device ID in app.json and sideloaded this app to my Homey.

hi @ZimoSka i have the same issue. Can you maybe tell me where i can find how to update device ID in app.json and sideload the app to my homey?

i am new to homey and would like to solve this issue too. thx in advance.

Download app from this site and unpack it, then you find app.json you edit - it's not 100% that your device will work as there might be other z-wave commands available but not supported by this app...
