This issue is happening on every page I go to. Not just on Reddit

Same problem here, it started when I had to renew the rights (or something like
that)

to be clear, the images will initially pop up as usual when you go to a page,
but when you scroll down, the images only pop up within the confines of the
original page.
this began when i renewed permissions.

Came to report the same bug. I'm guessing the update accidentally removed the
or changed the bounding code.

OK, this has to do with the fix to issue 679. I will release a fix soon.

By the way, what version of Chrome are you using? I don't reproduce the bug on
Chrome 32 and 33 on Windows.

Same problem. Happening in the Chrome beta I am using. Seemed to be working
yesterday on this beta.
Thanks, Romain; looking forward to this fix … as this is annoying.

I am also having this issue.
Hover Zoomed images load next to their associated link. This is fine when
viewing a website at its intended resolution. However, if you are zoomed into
the website (ctrl +) the images load next to their zoomed out positions as if
the site isn't zoomed in; this leads to images loading off screen.

Same here. Hoverzoom updated permissions and now photos load off of the screen
and aren't centered or near where the cursor is on the image link.

Same Defect. Once I updated, photos only appear at top of page, so when you
scroll down, they're still at the top.

Yeah, I'm kinda having the same issue since the update.. I clicked on two
thumbnails and instead of the pics being centered, they were more to the far
left of the screen.
Example: I went to the website Statigram, hovered over both users
ayeejay10/alissam, icons.. and both their pics floated to the far left of the
screen.
I love your extension by the way, and with having a 4.26 Star rating, it seems
like a lot of people love this extension also.

Why isn't the extension in the chrome web store anymore?
Why did permissions change??
Original comment by rjla...@gmail.com

Hover Zoom is not working correctly for me, having the same issues as reported
above. Also, Chrome auto-disabled Hover Zoom after the last update, saying the
permissions are too intrusive.

using Version 33.0.1750.117 for OS-X
hover zoom 4.33
images load off screen, also permissions too intrusive so odds are I'll stop
using this altogether. Why do you need access to my data for every site I go
to?
Original comment by jame...@gmail.com

Just confirming the same problem. Also wondering about the newly added
permissions. Becoming sceptic..
Original comment by baard....@gmail.com
on 1 Mar 2014 at 1:18
I got a bit scared about the permissions myself, but I think it's probably so
the preloader can get the info it needs. Not sure why it needs to read/write
history though. It doesn't seem to work hovering on image links in my history.

Same issue. Why you breaky the hover zoom?
Original comment by gollyw...@gmail.com
on 1 Mar 2014 at 5:18
Same issue here. Seems that hoverzoom pictures get loaded within the initial
webpage load. So if browsing through facebook/reddit and scrolled down, the
pictures will hoverzoom to the very top of the page thinking that you are still
at the very top thus not showing on your screen.
