fix mbed platform #185

Running ipm on the mbed platform results in a lost connection, mbed LEDs flash 
in the "alarm" pattern and the traceback has no useful information.

I tried this recently and could not recreate the problem.  I was able to run 
ipm and interact.  I will close this as Not a Defect unless someone replies 
with a problem.

Unable to reproduce issue.  mbed platform is running just fine.
