Visiting 'Hazard' tab for first time breaks #330

When viewing the Hazards tab for the first time on a navigation from the index page, the results aren't shown.

To Reproduce:

  1. Visit the index page
  2. Click 'Hazards' to get brought to hazard search
  3. Note that results never appear
  4. Click on 'Places', see results
  5. Click on 'Hazards', see results
