Interact with end users to see if the ontology is intuitive
Do have product owners
Do (practice) choose a standard to follow
Do spend a little extra time to develop naming standards/names. Helps not have to break compatibility/switch things around once they are already in production
Do have an ontologist
Don't have too many ontologists because too much discussion

Functionality to load datasets using the ontology
Protege, metaphacts, Jira, Triple store
Do visualizations for your knowledge graph/ontologies because it helps spot any gaps or things to change
