Longer marker abbreviations #504

I'd like to have longer marker abbreviations. For event markers the abbreviation is limited to 2 characters which is annoyingly short and leads to labels that are not self-explanatory for the students. Range markers allow 6 characters which is better but not enough for me. E.g. I had two markers Quintfall and Quintanstieg which were abbreviated to Quintf and Quinta which is not ideal.

I'd prefer if the abbreviation field is optional. If the field remains empty, the name of the marker should be used.
