Hi, I started using the Opus file format because it has a higher quality on a lower bitrate compared to MP3 and is also open source. Your software cannot decode this file format, and the reasoning behind it makes no sense on your FAQ page. Despite how many phones do not support it, there are many other phones that do. Why not just allow support for it anyway if there are phones that can take advantage of it?
