This looks like an sandboxing issue resulting from the beta having a different 
signature.  Please try deleting the following directory:
~/Library/Containers/com.growl.hardwaregrowler.GNTPClientService
and try running HWGrowler again.

This most likely results from the app store version being signed by apple, and 
our beta being signed by our developer ID.  As a warning, you will need to deal 
with this whenever switching between betas and app store versions or vice 
versa, and as more of our products are sandboxed (HWGrowler 2 and Growl 2 both 
are sandboxed, as are their XPC's).

I've never ran a HardwareGrowler beta, I've only ever installed it from the app 
store.

I've deleted the above directory and relaunched, I'll let you know if I see 
this crash again.
