Lidl remote (FB20-002) not working

What happened?

I paired the remote (Lidl FB20-002) and it is visible in the frontend. When binding it to a ligt or a group pressing the buttons (on/off, brightness) is not reflecting on the lights.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected the lights to turn on or off or the brightness to be changed

My guess is that this device does not support group binding, to confirm someone should sniff the traffic after binding it (https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/advanced/zigbee/04_sniff_zigbee_traffic.html#with-cc2531). Chance that this can be fixed is low.

Hi, I'd like to add something to the discussion. My remote comes from Livarno Lux Starter-Set. I have switched to Home Assistant+Z2M just recently. Earlier I was using native Tuya app for all my automations. In Tuya this remote was paired with 5 Livarno bulbs. I haven't wiped data from remote when I joined it to Home Assistant (probably I should). And so, when I use the ON button (just after OFF), in logs I see something like that:

Button ON sends payload 'on' only if I previously pushed OFF button. If I press ON again and again, remote tries to cycle through 4 scenes. In Tuya that was a hardcoded amount of scenes: warm white, medium warm white, medium cool white and cool white. In log you can see that such messages are sent exactly 5 times, because remote was paired with 5 bulbs.

first number is always '1' (can it mean 'on'?)
second number is incrementing with every button click since joining to Z2M. I have removed and rejoined the remote and that number was reseted to 0
I suspect that 3rd number means brightness and it is constant
4th number most probably cycles scenes: 0-1-2-3-0-1-2-3

To sum it up, remote has its own memory of pressed buttons, hardcoded scenes nad binded bulbs. Can it be used in Z2M?

If I can help somehow in gathering more data (I still have working and unhacked Tuya gateway), let me know. Just write exactly what should I do, as I am completly new to all of that.

UPDATE: "Delete and wipe data" in Tuya app doesn't remove saved on remote bindings unfortunately. I don't know yet how to get rid off them... Extra info from manual: To bind remote with gateway you have to press ON and OFF buttons for few seconds. To bind remote with bulbs you have to press Brightness_up and Brightness_down buttons for few seconds (but if you don't bind anything it doesn't remove earlier bindings).

Hello, the issue still persists. The LIDL remote can successfully be bound to a LIDL ceiling lamp, but pressing the buttons on the remote has no effect. It used to work just fine with the old LIDL Zigbee Base (I switched to HA recently). Has anyone figured this out, or are the LIDL remotes now useless?

i think the other buttons cause action in debug protocols but not show up in the webinterface logs. They have no action payload in z2m. it is exactly the device FB20-002.

i think the other buttons cause action in debug protocols but not show up in the webinterface logs. They have no action payload in z2m. it is exactly the device FB20-002.

Its the HG08376 for me but it looks like exactly the same.

Button off / brightness up / brightness down do not send anything to MQTT

Button on send this:

Note that the action_scene starts at 0, and goes up at every press. It then rolls back to 0 when reaching 3 (4 stage)

EDIT: Pressing the off button, while it doesn't do anything on z2m, it resets the counter to zero. According to the doc it seems switch_scene is one of the possible action sent, maybe its in the wrong mode or something like that?
