Exception while calling fromZigbee converter - z2mqtt stops working #20778

What did you expect to happen?

I downgraded the addon version to 1.34.0-1 and I no longer encounter these errors

Hi,

From a brief look over your logs, the issue seems more to to with Z2M being unable to communicate with your coordinator adapter.

Instead of using the devices symlinked path /dev/ttyACM0 try using its full address path from /dev/serial/by-id/

It also seems strange that you are getting a cannot lock port error - this usually occurs if you have a competing resource trying to use the same adapter..

Let's see what happens.

However, I confirm that with version 1.34.0-1 everything is fine.

....and the device stops sending data....it starts sending data again only after device reconfiguration.... `....the only difference is that only that device is blocked and not all zigbee2mqtt....

Strange, everything else seems the same, apart from me using channel 11, and my ZB-GW04 USB dongle that i use on /dev/ttyUSB0 instead of /dev/ttyACM0. It's also still on 6.10.3.0 build 297. I didn't apply any calibrations, but I think that shouldn't matter either.

Strange yes. I have now installed version 1.35.3-1. with this version I have never encountered problems like with 1.34.0-1.

I "played" with the calibrations but the problems seem to be linked to the versions....

I did get a crash 2 days later, but I've since been using 1.37.x with the ember adapter and 7.4.2 FW instead of ezsp. No issues after more than two and a half weeks, so I'd give that a go. Flashing the stick was pretty easy, and the network still worked without having to re-pair anything. Good guide here.
