NVGs Through Scopes #445

As I understand it, most military scopes have a rubber ring that make them compatible with your NVGs. The notion that I need a night vision scope to be a marksman is not right. I like the noise effect you added to the night vision. Now if you could let us look through our scope with our NVGs that'd be great.

Seems that only 'long scopes' such as DMS, LRR and SOS are incompatible with NVG. Short, holo scopes are compatible with NVG. Maybe there's a reason for BI to do that. If you want to change that, a simple config edit that remove "Normal" from visionMode[] = {"Normal"}; can do the job.

I actually like that some scopes are incompatible with the nvgs. It makes the game more interesting and diverse. Also, a pvp mission at night would be horror if the snipers had night vision.

All the rifle optics, like the RCO, MRCO etc., are already compatible with NVGs since they're 3D optics, and, as commy said, it makes the game more interesting that snipers don't have that compatibility.
