IFA3 Compatibility #8

What's been done:

What's not done:

I mentioned it in the issue where I was asked if I would contribute what I had but someone else has done some work for compatibility as well on the IF tracker on Dev-Heaven.

From the list above, there's still some things left to do. There could be more that needs to get done as well? I can do the rest of what's listed but it'll be a bit before I get to it. The group I help run has our anniversary coming up which means I have some mission making to get done. It'll be mid January-ish before I can pick this up again.

I'm also not quite sure what to do about explosives. I'm not sure if it was brought over to A3, but IF had it's own explosives system.

I'm also not sure about the distribution of earplugs. American artillerymen for example were given earplugs but infantry weren't.

:+1: Awesome.

Do you want to merge this now or wait until you have time to add the remaining changes?

Scoped weapons in IFA3 are fixed to the weapon model as opposed to an attachment. This may change at a later date, I don't know.

If there are no plans to make the IF weapons use the attachment system, we could potentially change the scope adjustment system to support integrated scopes...

Thanks for the contribution btw :+1:

:+1: I don't think there are plans for that, as the scopes are integrated in the weapon model. There are some weapons in CUP that also have integrated scopes, in cases where it was not feasable to use attachments for graphical reasons (e.g. sniper rifles with gillie camo).

Your choice if you want to merge it now or later. I can always make another pull request.

I'll merge this tonight, as I'm interested on having this. We can work together on what's missing.
